Very interesting. Especially loved how Alex started thinking of when he would have his next mission, not even thinking of it as 'if'.
Shouldn't Jack be paid as a housekeeper? I've always just assumed that MI6 handles the money. Kind of like Jack is just their appointed guardian, but they can step in if needed. Oh, and would Alex have inheritance waiting in the bank from his parents? I would assume that spies(John and Ian) are paid well, especially with all those vacations Alex has been on.

I liked the banter going on between Alex and Tom, it shows their friendship in a fun way.
The line breaks, while different as the only breaks using letters are usually 'HPHPHPHP' or such, seem to have a problem as there is a number before and after the quote, *shrug*
